1. (i) B.Sc Nursing (4 year course) from 

an Indian Nursing Council/ Medical 

Faculty recognized Institute or 

University ORB.Sc. Nursing (Post Basic) 

(2 year course)

(ii)Registered as Nurses & Midwife in 

 State /India Nursing Council

OR

2. (i) Diploma in General Nursing 

Midwifery from an Indian Nursing 

Council recognized Institute/Board or 

council

(ii)Two-years experience in a minimum 

50-bedded Hospital after acquiring the 

educational qualification mentioned

(ii) Registered as Nurses & Midwife in 

State / Indian Nursing Council

SGPGIMS staff nurse salary per month :- 

Level-7 (Rs.44,900-1,42,400)

http://www.sgpgims.org.inas per schedule. Applicants can submit their application online. 

There is no provision for offline application. 

Staff Nurse Application Fee:

Rs. 600/- for Reserved Candidates

For Group D posts Rs.500/-

Rs. 300/- for Reserved Candidates

(Application Fee is ‘Non-refundable’

staff Nurse Selection Process:

The selection will be done on the basis of the marks obtained in the Common Recruitment Test (CRT) only.

staff Nurse Final Merit List: -

The final merit list will be prepared ONLY based on the marks obtained in the Common Recruitment Test (CRT), for all categories (i.e. GENERAL, OBC, SC, ST, EWS, etc) separately and rank will be awarded to all qualified applicants. While preparing the selection list for the General category, all applicants (including those from the reserved categories) will be taken into consideration, but while preparing the selection list for a reserved category, only applicants of that category will be taken into consideration. The same method will be applicable in all reserved categories.

The syllabus, question pattern, marking and qualifying marks are as described in the following sections.

• 80% questions will be related to Theory of Nursing knowledge

• 20% questions will be related to Practical application of Nursing work (of these 10%  will be related to COVID related work)

• Syllabus will be as per uploaded on the SGPGIMS website

• There will be NO negative marking.

• Language of the examination will be both English and Hindi
