Important note:
1. Usually most of the candidates apply in the last two-three days of online application, due to which many candidates are not able to apply online due to server load and technical error of candidates themselves. Gujarat High Court invites 'Online Applications' from eligible candidates to fill up total 18 (05 Regular Pay + 13 Fixed Pay) Class-IV Clerk Attendant-cum-Cook posts through competitive examination through direct recruitment, details of which are as follows is:
Salary scale :-
Rs. 15,000 - 47,600/- (Regular Pay) and Rs.14,800 (Fix Pay).
Eligibility/Eligibility Norms:
(a) Eligibility Required: (Last date for online application on 19/02/2024)
(1) Candidate should have passed 10th standard (SSCE) from a Govt recognized board.
2) Candidate should have knowledge of Gujarati and Hindi language.
(3) The candidate should be knowledgeable in cooking such as –
(a) The candidate should know how to use various cooking equipment like Chimney, Induction, Oven, Microwave, Grills, Toasters, Fryers, Steamers, Kettles, Food-Processors, Refrigerators etc.
(b) The candidate should have knowledge of various types of spices and herbs used in cooking and their proper use.
(c) Should have knowledge of all types of cuisine (Multi cuisine) as well as Gujarati, Punjabi, South Indian, Vegetarian and Non-Vegetarian, Chinese, Continental, Italian etc. and
Must have knowledge of making all types of fast food.
(d) In case of cooking for more persons, one should be able to cook food proportionately (without spoiling) in such a way as to maintain the taste, decorum and cleanliness of the food.
(f) In addition to cooking, the candidate should have knowledge of plating and presentation while serving.
(b) Experience:
The candidate should have at least 02 years of work experience as a cook in Central Government / State Government / Any Corporate Organization / Armed Forces or Government Undertaking.
(c) Priority:
Preference will be given to candidates who have completed ITI/Certificate/Diploma/Degree in Culinary Arts from any reputed institute recognized by Central or State Government.
(d) Responsibilities of Attendant cum Cook:
(1) He/she shall perform various tasks such as cooking, housework, cleaning, purchase of goods from the market etc. at the residence of the Hon'ble Chief Justice of Gujarat High Court and other Hon'ble Judges so that he/she should be proficient in the same.
(2) He/she shall perform all other household chores as directed
(3) He/she should be regular and punctual in household work as required.
(4) He/she shall perform the duties connected with the House of the Hon'ble Judges or any other duties assigned to him/her during holidays and at any time.
(5) The candidate has to give the admissions mentioned in the online application form.
