Among the said Advertisement Nos.: 01/2023-24 to 10/2023-24 (except Advertisement No. 05/2023-24) with 50% weightage for the marks obtained out of 300 marks in the preliminary examination and 50% weightage for the marks obtained in the face-to-face interview out of 100 marks. Calculation will be done on the basis of total marks. That is, 50-50 percent weightage will be given to marks obtained out of 300 and 100 marks in preliminary test and face-to-face interview respectively. In the preliminary examination, 100 questions of 100 marks will be of general studies and 200 questions of 200 marks will be of related subjects. (Candidates securing less than 15% marks in preliminary test in Sadharu advertisements will not be considered for face-to-face interview.)
Out of the said advertisements, 200 questions of 200 marks will be on the relevant subject in the preliminary examination in advertisement number: 05/2023-24. The final selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of total marks calculated proportionally with 50% weightage of marks obtained out of 200 marks in preliminary test and 50% weightage of marks obtained out of 100 marks in face-to-face interview. That is, 50-50 percent weightage will be given to the marks obtained out of 200 and 100 marks in the preliminary test and face-to-face interview respectively. Candidates securing less than 25% marks in preliminary test in Sadharu advertisements will not be considered for face-to-face interview. When Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates securing less than 20% marks, such candidates will not be considered for face-to-face interview, shortlist for all advertisements will be finalized on merit basis. The final marks obtained by the candidate will be declared only at the time of final result,
How to Apply GPSC Recruitment 2023
(1) Candidates should apply online by reading advertisement number and post name clearly. After filling all the details in the application form while applying online, the application has to be confirmed after confirming the details.
(2) If there is a need to amend the details of the confirmed application form or the information given by the candidate in the matter of defects or omissions, go to the "Edit" option in the "Online Application" menu of https://gpsc-ojas.gujarat.gov.in and apply online in that advertisement. Any details can be corrected till the last (last) day and time, no corrections can be made in the application form filled online after the deadline for online application of advertisement,
(3) In case of more than one application, only the last confirmed application form will be accepted. Application form with last confirmed fee will be accepted for non-reserved category candidates.
(4) Candidates should keep ready the certificates to be produced in case of eligibility for face-to-face interview.
Only SSCE CERTIFICATE (DATE OF BIRTH INDICATED) must be presented for proof of age, no other document will be accepted. Candidates belonging to Socially and Educationally Backward Classes should submit Annexure-K-Annexure-4 (Gujarati) only for NON CREAMY LAYER CERTIFICATE (NCLC). ANNEXURE-'A' (ENGLISH) will not be considered valid. Candidates belonging to Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) shall submit only (Annexure-KH in English or Addendum in Gujarati) as prescribed vide Resolution No: WS/122019/45903A dated 25/01/2019 of Department of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of Gujarat and the same shall be considered valid. .
