RCH-I/NRHM is being implemented in the district by District Health Society, Jamnagar (Government of Gujarat). Which mainly includes mother child welfare, family welfare and adolescent health etc. For the implementation of the programme, the District Health Society has to fill up the following vacancies on contract basis and prepare a waiting list for future vacancies.
DHS Jamnagar Recruitment 2024 Details
1. Medical Officer -
(N.C.D.) (2 posts) Total Allowance admissible Rs. 75,000/- per month.
Qualification: MBBS or equivalent degree (recognised by Medical Council of India. Desirable: 2 years working experience in Hospital.
2. Staff Nurse / Bro
(N.H.M.) (3 Posts) Total Allowance Rs.20,000/- per month.
Qualification : G.N.M./B.Sc from Govt recognized institution. Nursing/(Bachelor Degree In Nursing), registration with Gujarat Nursing Council is mandatory.

3. Pharmacist cum Data Ass.
(Total Vacancy 12) Total admissible allowance Rs. 16,000/- per month.
Qualification : Bachelor/Diploma in Pharmacy from Government recognized University/Institution, registration with Pharmacy Council of Gujarat is mandatory. Must have computer knowledge.
4. PHC Accountant cum Data Entry Operator
(3 Posts): Total Allowance admissible Rs. 20,000/- per month.
Eligibility : Vanijay (Commerce) must have completed Diploma/Certificate course (Govt. Recognized) in Computer Application along with Graduation. and M.S. Basic skills in Office, account software, GIS software, hardware and basic knowledge in office management and filing system, typing skills in both Gujarati and English are required. Preference will be given to candidates with additional qualifications. Experience: Minimum 1 year

5. Immunization Field Volunteer
(1-place)
Education Qualification
BSW/MSW, BRM/MRM as well as field work experience related to immunization, planning and implementation skills of Taluka, PHC and Urban Health Center operations, own two wheeler vehicle with all documents required. Knowledge of Gujarati and English language and basic computer knowledge required. Must have good verbal and written communication skills, knowledge of Taluka, PHC and UHC health operational structure, good manners. 600/- per article for a maximum of 20 days per month and traveling allowance per day for 20 days Rs. 300/- is available.
A written examination / practical test will be conducted for rank 4 candidates. Out of which merit wise candidates will be called for face to face interview. Out of which the required candidates will be selected and a waiting list will be made. For all the remaining posts, the appointment and waiting list will be made considering the last year's merit and work experience in the health department. Candidates age should not be more than 40 years as on last date of application. The selected candidate will be appointed on contract basis for 11 months. Which can be extended for the duration of the program based on the performance of the candidate during the contract period of the candidate.
Important Tips on Online Form Filling :-
> Candidate's application received online at https://arogyasathi.gujarat.gov.in only will be accepted. R.P.A.D. Applications received by speed post, courier or ordinary post will not be accepted.
> Photocopy of legible original document must be uploaded in the software. If the required documents are not uploaded, their application will be rejected.
> Applications with incomplete details will be invalid.
> For the selection of all cadres merit list will be prepared based on the percentage obtained in the final year of degree / diploma / graduation and if there is more than one trial in the final year, deducting 3% per trial. For the cadre of Accountant-cum-Data Asst., computer skill is required and those who have computer qualification as mentioned in ToR will be considered on merit.
> For the posts which will be related to computer operation, computer practical exam will have to be given. The age limit will be calculated on the last date of receipt of applications mentioned in the advertisement.
> Correspondence for all the above posts will henceforth be done through e-mail only so that e-mail I.D. It has to be checked and checked from time to time.
> The contractual period for the said posts will be for 11 months. The period can be increased or decreased depending on the requirement and budget.
> Merit will be made by taking into account their educational qualification as mentioned in the advertisement in public tender and their work experience in health department.
> All final decisions regarding appointment like increase or decrease in post or cancellation of recruitment and above recruitment process shall rest with Mission Director, District Health Society and Chief District Health Officer, Jamnagar.

Step - 5. Use the registered credentials and fill up the application form for relevant post.
