Educational Qualification and Experience:

1. B.Sc. or B.E. Pass and Divisional Officers Course Pass conducted by National Fire Service College, Nagpur, should have general knowledge of Gujarati language otherwise candidate will have to acquire knowledge of that language.

2. Should have at least 05 (Five) years working experience in fire service related cadre, out of which at least 01 years experience after passing Divisional Officer Course.

3. Must have valid driving license to drive heavy motor vehicles.


2. Physical Qualification:

Height – Minimum 165 cm, Weight – Minimum 50 kg, Chest – Minimum Normal – 81 cm. (must rise at least 5 cm when inflated), good vision, if candidate has spectacles, candidate should be able to perform all practical fire drills without spectacles.


3. Pay scale:

Level-9 (Pay Matrix 53,100/- to 1,67,800/-) as per 7th Pay Commission


4. Age:

Not more than 45 years.


(1) Under no circumstances will applications by post or in person be accepted. Apply online only. (2) The educational qualification, pay scale and other information of these posts should be obtained from the Vadodara Municipal Corporation website. (3) The candidate shall pay the prescribed fee dt. Payment has to be made online by 24-07-2024. Applications without payment of fee automatically. will be considered disapproved. (4) Considering the number of applications regarding this recruitment process the decision taken by the Commissioner, Vadodara Municipal Corporation, Vadodara regarding the elimination test/competitive examination/interview relevant to that post shall be final and binding.
