No.GS/2023/31/0125/K: In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article of India. 309 of the Constitution of India, the Governor of Gujarat hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Gujarat Subordinate Services, Class III (Group-A and Group-B)
GSSSB (Combined Competitive Examination) Rules, 2023:-
1. (1) These rules may be called the Gujarat Subordinate Services, Class III (Group-A and Group-B) (Combined Competitive Examination) (Amendment) Rules, 2023.
(2) They shall come into force from the date of their publication in the official Gazette.
2. In the Gujarat Subordinate Service, Class III (Group-A and Group-B)(Combined Competitive Examination) Rules, 2023 (hereinafter referred to as "the said rules") In rule 6, in sub-rule (1)
GSSSB Exam New Rules
(1) in clause (a), for sub clause (i) the following shall be substituted, namely:-
"(1) A common Preliminary Examination shall be conducted for selection of the candidates for Group-A and Group-B posts mentioned in Appendix-A" as amended hereinafter
(ii) for clause (b), the following shall be substituted, namely:-
"(1) Separate Main Examination shall be conducted for final selection of candidates for Group-A and Group-B posts mentioned in Appendix-A as amended hereinafter.
(ii) For Group-A posts the Main Examination shall be of Descriptive type whereas for Group-B posts the Main Examination shall be of MCQ type".
3. In the said rules, for Appendix A, the following Appendix A shall be substituted, namely:-
