OMR of 100 marks Written Examination (No minimum marks to be considered for passing.)

GSRTC Driver Bharti 2023 Syllabus

Competitive Objective Written Test by D.M.R Method :- The merits of competitive written test by O.M.R method are as follows.

100 marks

Time:-1:00 hrs

General Knowledge (in Gujarati Medium) (Upto Class 12) 30 Marks

Road Safety and Auto Mechanic (in Gujarati Medium) 20 Marks

Gujarati Language and Grammar (in Gujarati Medium) (Upto Class 12) 20 Marks

English Language and Grammar (in English Medium) (Upto Class-12) 10 Marks

Arithmetic (in Gujarati Medium) (Upto Class 10) 20 Marks

Total :- 100 marks

GSRTC Driver Salary:-

The selected candidates will be appointed on contract basis at the driver level for five years with fixed pay of Rs.18500/- per month. They will not be entitled to any allowances or benefits other than the allowances or benefits admissible to them as per rules. Thereafter on satisfactory completion of five years of services, the driver grade will be eligible for regular appointment in the basic pay prevailing in the Corporation in the basic pay.

Application Fees

All Unreserved (General) category candidates called for the Optical Mark Reading (O.M.R) written test will have to pay Rs.250/- + postal charges towards the examination fee.

All Unreserved (General) category candidates called for driving test will have to pay Rs.225/- towards driving test fee.
