A] Candidate should have passed Basic B.Sc. (Nursing) degree from an Institution recognized by the Indian Nursing Council 

 OR 

Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) obtained from an Institution recognized by the Indian Nursing Council/ or the Gujarat Nursing Council or possess an equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Government The selected candidate shall be required to get him/herself registered with th Gujarat Nursing Council as Registered Nurse or Registered Midwife

or equivalent under the Gujarat Nurse, Midwives and Health Visitors Act, 1968, at the time of application. 

[B] Possess the basic knowledge of computer application as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules,1967 

[C] Have adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both
